Sweet Pete’s Gummy Fest

You know that saying love where you live? WELL that statement holds true for me and my love for my city of Jacksonville.
Jacksonville named after Andrew Jackson is a city to be explored.

The “River City by the Sea” boasts  beaches,  tranquil Intracoastal waterway canal, and the longest stretch of  St. Johns River. On land, Jacksonville is home to the largest urban park system, with several state and national parks.

One of our favorite places to visit, is Sweet Pete’s https://www.sweetpetescandy.com located downtown on Hogan Street. Once known has the Seminole Club it’s not only iconic but sweetly magical.

Sweet Pete’s has a special place in my heart. When I was pregnant with my son my husband brought me to Candy Apple Cafe for Valentine’s Day. So my little man has been experiencing its magic since before he was born.

Sweet Pete’s offers a variety of family fun. They manufacture a line of handcrafted quality chocolates and sell over a thousand different types of candies.  Sweet Pete’s also features an event center that offers space for children’s field trips, catered events and parties. Sweet Pete’s also finds joy in sharing expertise with others by teaching the art of candy making. The fun-filled educational environment includes Sweet Pete’s science classes, hands-on interactive candy making sessions and birthday parties. . They offer toddler story time, holiday candy making classes and more.

This past weekend we attended the third annual gummy fest. We’ve gone each year since it’s creation. It’s a block party filled with gummy stations, lollipop pulls, games, activities, live music and inflatables. For $9.00 you can enjoy several hours of fun, experience all the silliness, laugh and dance hysterically and  be wowed by the best delicious sweets that Jax can offer.  Sweet Pete’s is truly the sweetest destination on earth.
