A great day trip your whole family will love.

Are you looking for some good clean family adventure this summer? With a short hour and thirty minutes away from Jacksonville I have the perfect weekend getaway.

Daytona Lagoon is a premier water park and entertainment center for all ages. With thrilling water slides, a wave pool, a multi-level family splash play center and lazy river it screams FUN. If that isn’t enough the entertainment center offers laser tag, a go- kart track, MEGA arcade and 18 holes of mini golf. With all these options at your finger tips it has something for everyone!

Upon entering the water park and to keep you safe during your visit the following measures have been put in place.

  • Temperature checks before entering the waterpark and entertainment center.
  • Distance markers six feet from other groups while checking in
  • Hand sanitation centers located in and around the water park and entertainment area.
  • Required face masks in closed areas and indoors
  • Zero contact at food and beverage as well as shields between employee’s and guests.

Once you have made it through the safety checks you must purchase tickets through admission.

Tickets range from $31.49 to all day passes at $52.99. Season pass holder’s and Florida resident discounts are available with different price points for going during the week as well as special events.

While visiting parking accommodations are available in the multi story garage located between Daytona Lagoon and A1A and is only $4.00 dollars for up to twelve hours with stair and elevator access.

The water park has a variety of twisty slides based on height requirements along with the lazy river and the kiddie area with four acres of water for excitement and fun.

Depending on your thrill factor from Kraken’s Revenge or the two person experience for the adrenaline junkie with Shaka Halfpipe and Treasure Lagoon they have something for everyone in your party to enjoy.

Cabanas are also available to rent Monday – Friday based on the size of your party for a fee and must be reserved. Check out website for availability.

With countless hours of fun to be had, Daytona Lagoon also offers dinning. Complete meals include sandwiches, fresh pizza, ice cream, and adult beverages for everyone’s food palette. Be on the look out for the food specials on your visit and to plan accordingly. Guests may only bring in food that is medically necessary. Be sure to make them aware upon entering the park based on special needs.

Best practices and tips to make your visit even more enjoyable. Get to park prior to opening to secure your spot near the pool and lagoon area, they fill up fast. Rent a cabana or umbrella to stay in shade prior to your arrival if you want more space and privacy for your family. Don’t forget essential items such as towels, a change of clothes, sunscreen, storage devices for your phones and valuables. Lockers are also available to rent if needed.

We had the best time and a day filled with family fun while visiting Daytona Lagoon. A short day trip and change of scenery was food for our souls. Huge on creating memorable adventures and we were not disappointed, and can’t wait to go BACK. Life is about the adventures you take and memories you make. So have FUN often and live life with open eyes and a happy heart.
